Massage therapy is best applied directly on the skin, but you may undress to your comfort level and it can also easily be done while wearing comfortable yoga style clothing. The areas of concern may be tender to the touch but I work within your comfort level while applying pressure and you will always have the right to stop or modify the treatment at any time. It is my intention to allow your mind to focus on the areas of concern and I will gently remind you to breath deeply into the area being treated as this focus takes place. This will have you feeling more connected and relaxed.
Please drink plenty of water after your treatment to help flush and detox and a hot epsom salt bath is also very beneficial in reducing inflammation and post treatment muscle soreness.
